Angi Russell, Teacher Associate
✨I've been with SAPCC PlayWorks for about 8 months, after previously serving as a Family Advocate at the Newport Head Start in New Hampshire. Now, I'm the lead teacher in the Sunset classroom, where our older 2-year-olds and young 3-year-olds learn, play, and grow every day.
In our classroom, we explore activities that build both gross and fine motor skills, we read, sing, dance, and practice making "green thumbs-up choices." Most importantly, we learn how to be kind to ourselves and others. 💛
There's nothing I love more than seeing those "aha!" moments when a child discovers something new. I want every child to feel safe, supported, and surrounded by plenty of hugs as they learn and grow. 🌈✨
